Magnetic Measurement and Testing

Scope of the conference

This workshop will be the 12th of a series of international meetings previously held at several sites of Europe and Japan. It is aimed at various aspects of magnetic measurement and testing as listed further down. A specific focus is put on 2-dimensional - or even 3-dimensional - phenomena of magnetization.

The aim is to bring together academic researchers and industrial engineers in order to report about their current work in the given fields of interest. Traditionally, the number of participants is small enough to allow for thorough and relaxed discussions of novel advances, developments and unsolved problems.

As in the previous workshops, the Vienna event will comprise oral presentations - or posters - on specific phenomena and investigations, as well as key note lectures which should provide reviews on sub-fields of common interest, respectively.

The program of workshop will include basic and applied aspects of the following scopes:

A) Current problems of "conventional" (1-dimensional) testing methods for soft magnetic materials (especially electrical steel, or rapidly quenched materials), such as

B) All aspects of 2-dimensional - or even 3-dimensional - magnetization processes, such as
